Fiber Optic ABF-Micro (Air-Blown Micro-Cable)
Air-blown micro-cable designed for high-density installations in microducts. Available in 2–288 fibers with G.657.A1/A2 glass, it features a compact, lightweight design and low-friction jacket for smooth jetting. Ideal for scalable FTTx and metro deployments.
Product Overview
The LiteLinx Air-Blown Micro Cable (2–288F) is engineered for future-proof fiber network deployments. Its ultra-compact design fits within micro-duct systems, enabling fibers to be blown in or out as needed without pulling. This cable features low-friction, high-strength outer materials and dry or gel-free water-blocking to reduce installation friction and protect against moisture ingress.
With fiber counts ranging from 2 to 288, you can expand your network flexibly. Its tight-buffered fibers and color coding support clean termination and easy integrations. Perfect for FTTH, campus, and backbone runs, this micro cable minimizes install risks, future-proofs capacity, and simplifies upgrades.
Optimized for jetting. Built for scale.
The cable’s lightweight design, small outer diameter, and low-friction ribbed jacket allow for easy and efficient jetting through microducts as small as 14/10mm. Its fully dielectric construction eliminates the need for grounding and makes it immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI).
At the core, a central FRP strength member supports multiple loose tubes that are SZ-stranded and filled with a water-blocking compound—providing both flexibility and protection from moisture ingress.
