The LiteLinx Armored Optical Fiber Cable is engineered for high-performance, high-protection environments such as direct burial, utility corridors, and industrial infrastructure. Built for strength and reliability, this cable is available in 12 to 288 fiber counts and is ideal for applications requiring both environmental resilience and physical defense.

At its core, the cable uses a non-metallic FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) central strength member to maintain structural integrity and flexibility. Loose tubes filled with waterproof gel are SZ-stranded around the FRP, and the core is sealed with water-swellable yarns for full longitudinal water blocking.
The cable’s armor system includes a corrugated steel or aluminum tape layer (PSP) for crush resistance and optional dual-layer armor for added protection in extreme installations. A polyethylene outer jacket provides weatherproofing and mechanical durability in the field.
