HybridGuard™ is LiteLinx’s advanced Optical Ground Wire designed for extreme reliability and longevity in aggressive environments. Utilizing a spiral-formed or extruded aluminum tube to house optical fibers, HybridGuard™ provides superior corrosion resistance, optimized fiber isolation, and improved optical performance compared to traditional stranded tube constructions.

 

This advanced hybrid design combines the electrical and mechanical strength of aluminum-clad steel (ACS) wires with a fully protected aluminum optical core. The result is an OPGW cable engineered not only for environmental resilience, but also for high-fiber-count applications and SmartFiber-enabled digital network visibility.
